Where is the best place to get lug nut studs for my 1968 chrysler 300. It has 4 wheel power drum , need to replace studs in front drums.

@carguy300 note this: The stud I posted has right-hand thread. Our cars came with left-hand thread on the left (driver's) side. If you are replacing only 1 or 2 of the studs on the left side of the car with the stud I posted above, you will have a mix of left and right hand thread on that hub. You will have to get a matching right-hand nut for the new stud.

A few months ago I ordered some chrome lug nuts from a place on the internet that specializes in studs and lug nuts. They sell both left and right hand lug nuts and also studs. If you are replacing a stud with left-hand thread and want to keep it left-handed then you'll have to get a new stud from a specialty place because rock auto does not sell left-hand anything (studs or nuts).

These are for the right side but I thought about changing both sides to right handed but then I would need to change left rears also. Thanks for the info! I did just get left and right handed chrome lugs, did know had bad studs.

Rear studs looks like it's going to be DORMAN 610103 or I think this is a close alternative PTC 97049. Neither are black oxide finish.

It looks like the stud diameter (the part that gets pressed into the flange, aka knurl diameter) for the rear wheels is .673 inches. This is different than the front hubs (on drum cars) - the knurl diameter being .650 inches.

Something else to consider - there might be metric studs that might have the correct knurl diameter. This would allow you to use different (ie - current) lug nuts.

So many differences! Im going get my drums off this weekend and get a grip on what Im going to do next!! I appreciate the info!
