Renter should have loped off at least one body part, all he did was make a bloody mess. Nothing like a perp who winds up missing parts or dead to keep the rest of the low life trash out of the neighborhood.

He may have the “stage” grade weapons which are made for mock combat but are usually unsharpened. I saw a lot of those when shopping for a Khukuri knife. I bought a real one made in Nepal and it’s very sharp. Great for clearing out brush but I wouldn’t want to get whacked with it.
Good on dude, though.
I remember a story about a medical student (Baltimore I think) who killed an intruder with a samurai sword.
