We've had the Polara out and about a few times now, Lincolnshire isn't known for having great roads and this has shown up a couple of issues, porpoising down the seafront showed up the shot dampers and a couple of interesting stops has led to a full brake overhaul.over all we're really pleased with the car, bought unseen,on trust of a guy we didn't know.we even managed 2nd in class at one show.

Hard to earn a 1st to 2nd class win with a greem 4dr Fuselage sedan in its original Country I guess, they're liked better overseas. I also like that Triumph Dolomite Sprint in the pic, one of the early sports Saloons, but I'm a complete sucker for the Lotus Cortina, it is on my bucket list but Prices are a bit steep.

Don't get too excited it was American car class,I was beaten by a Hotchkiss jeep, still in French Army markings.Lots of other good American cars but in other classes.I still love seeing the reaction when you explain that it is just an every day car much like the Ford Cortina and Vauxhall Cavalier,at another show we were parked next to a Vauxhall Nova,it was literally half the length
