Hello everyone, I have a 1975 Dodge Monaco Royal Brougham, I bought this car after it has sat for 30yrs this year. It sat outside sunbaking to death though I've gotten everything up to par minus the ignition. Now if anyone knows this steering column has the optioned locking anti theft wheel, tilt, telescope and Cruise control. The cruise control lever is what I am having a issue as I want to use it as a by pass to clear not having to pull the entire column out. I understand as far as looking at it the lever how it could come apart and now seeing a post from name @thethee on here about the same cruise control lever. My theory on how it could come is relatively apart is correct. I am wanting to ask @thethee how he was able to take apart the Cruise control thumb plastic pusher part where the wires are exposed with out breaking it the way he did? If he can get back to me that would be great. I am doing this in order to gain access to the ignition cylinder and switch. Sense I'm sure once he sees this post he will understand why I want to by pass it taking this route. Thankyou all again, please leave a comment below. I am also Edward Estrada on the (C body Mopar page, Facebook)
