As the title implies, the National DeSoto Club's annual convention will be held June 25-29, 2025 in Akron, Ohio, and there is a great itinerary lined up! If you have never attended a club convention, it's part car show, part tourist sightseeing, and part social with old and new friends. The full details, including the convention preview article, host hotel, and registration form, can be found at www.desoto.org/events . To participate in club events, including showing a DeSoto, a club membership is required. Other membership benefits include an award-winning bi-monthly magazine, an annual car/member roster for locating parts cars and nearby DeSoto owners, an annual DeSoto calendar, free advertising, access to the club library, the ability to buy club store merchandise, access to tech advisors for each model year, the ability to join a local chapter, and much more. You can easily join at www.desoto.org/membership . For those wishing to only spectate at the (Saturday) car show, that will be free and open to the public. The car show location is at Hardesty Park, 1615 W Market St, Akron, OH 44313 from 9-3 with the rain location being the Summit Mall parking lot across the street.
