I have to replace the blower motor on the 78 NYB. I know that I have to remove the engine side housing that holds the blower motor to access it. The manual says that the right inner fender shield has to be removed. My question is: is the right inner fender shield the same as the wheelhouse assembly or are these two separate parts? Are there any other brackets or assemblies that need to be removed to access the blower motor? Does anyone have any advice or tips to make this job easier. Any recommendations on painting the wheelhouse since I'll have it out.

Inner fender should be all you have to do. It's not that hard. Just take the tire off

I thought so. Just the different terminology that is used from section to section for the same part in the manual can be confusing. Thanks for your help.

Depends on which Mex was on duty that day
