Hello, I recently inherited, what I am told is a 1969 Chrysler Neuport. It is certainly a Chrysler Neuport, but I am not certain that it's a 1969. Can someone in this forum help me accurately decode the Fender Tag.

Thanks in advance.

Graham

Thankyou. Do you know what year it is and is there anything else in the tag that you can identify.

From that tag, it's either a '67 or '68.

1967 VIN tag will be on the drivers door frame and 1968 VIN tag will be on the drivers side dash, visible through the windshield. Look at the 6th digit from the left, it will be "7" for 1967 and "8" for 1968.

Visually, the easy way to tell is from the rear as they are very different

That tag tells us 1967 because the tire code is 3 digits and the SO# is 5 digits. In 68 it would be 2 digits and 6 digits.
