Hi Everyone,

I've been lurking for a long time, but finally got around to signing up for an account in the hopes it may help to track down my former 1965 Plymouth Fury III coupe. The car was in the family nearly since new and it was sold on eBay around 2007-08. I was too young at the time to get the money together to buy it from other family members so I totally missed out. I have found it twice since it sold, but it has eluded me both times.

It was located in the Buffalo, NY area and the winning bidder was in Atlanta, GA. From what I recall, the buyer owned/operated a Mercedes dealership and when the car showed up, he was pretty disappointed with the condition. From there, it sat in the back lot until one of the mechanics bought it from him. I was able to get a hold of him, but don't recall his name. After that, the car popped up on Craigslist twice and both times I was too late.

I'm not sure if the car is being enjoyed, undergone restoration, or simply sent to the landfill. I hope it is still out there and I can find it again to bring her back home. I don't have too many photos, but I do remember a lot of quirky things about it that may help if anyone on here knows of it or has it in their possession. I'm trying to see if anyone else has the VIN or additional photos as well.

I believe it was a 318 car and certainly had a column shift automatic transmission. Dark green exterior, green interior, and a black vinyl roof. The side moldings also had a black insert/paint, which I know isn't on most of the ones I've seen out there. The radiator had a gnarly leak and wasn't replaced before it was sold. The side mirror was square, assuming a later replacement to the original circular mirror.

When it was sold, the fender skirts were off and in the trunk. The horn didn't work so someone rigged up a bypass by zip tying a doorbell button to the steering column. It had a crappy aftermarket radio and the speedometer was unplugged/didn't work. One of the front fenders got bumped many years ago and the repair wasn't too bad, but I distinctly remember there was some wonkiness with the chrome trim at the front of the fender when the repair was made. The small piece may have been missing entirely, not too sure. I think the sticker you're seeing on the front windshield was for the NY State Magistrates.

Thanks everyone!
