Package Tray

Hi All,
Does anyone know if a 68 Newport Rear package tray will fit my 68 300?? I know some parts are the same on these cars and wanna make sure if I get one from a Newport that it'll fit my 300. Both are 2dr hardtops. Thanks!!!

I need to check the part’s books but I believe the Newport had a full rear seat back but the 300’s had the rear seat back that dropped down like the convertibles.

So the seat back is different but looks like it shares the same package tray.

Does anyone make a replacement package tray for a 68 4 door sedan?

I searched online and haven’t found a source.

I am considering making one from Masonite and covering it some padding and black vinyl, after cutting out holes for some 6 x 9” speakers. I also might make another cutout for a rear window defroster.

It might fit. I don’t know if the package tray is the same for a Newport vs a Fury.

I will inspect the one on hand and I will likely cover it, as I have done with my 65 Mustang.
