Thanks again everyone. **** happens. I'll just press on and fix the Big Girl. She's my pride and joy and when I saw the damage I was really bummed out. Still am, but what can ya do,..right..!!

Maybe try a little heat from a torch and see if you can get the bezel to straighten out.Be careful,because white metal(also known as pot metal) has a lower melting point than regular steel so just heat it up slowly and see if you can work it back into shape with a small rubber mallet,that's if you can even get to where it's bent.Best of Luck!

I plan on trying that. Like I said, it's not that bad of a bend. No creases, just pushed in a bit. I might get lucky! The housings aren't in that great of shape anyway.

I managed to slowly get the trunk back into shape. I pulled the light housing out and used a rubber mallet and a few different size pieces of wood and worked the push in out after about an hours work. Then I moved on to the housing. Since is was just bowed in about an inch, believe it or not,..I took the housing over my knee a grabbed the ends of the housing and pulled and it straighten it out. I did however, thought I was going to snap the housing in half when I was trying to bend it back. I'm glad it worked out and I didn't have to put out a dime. Getting kind of dark here with rain rolling in soon,..so I'll take some pics of it tomorrow and post them. Pretty excited about the outcome. F the insurance company!!!

Edit: well, after looking a little closer, when the ahole hit the housing, it actually cracked it along the top edge. The originals will be going back on until I find and can afford a better set. Trunk came out good though.
