Just saw this: Rock N Roll Car Show | The Pavilions at Talking Stick Anybody know anything about it? Been going on for 30 years, can't believe they'd just cancel it with no warning.

It's Not Going to Shift Itself
Have there been any incidents recently that would impact the reputation or liability to the property? We had a similar quick shutdown at one of our weekly event because of the antics of a few as they were leaving the show.

None that I'm aware of. Strange to me that it was so sudden after 30 years with no official explanation.
seems this was a local, southern AZ institution for many years.
i dunno anything about it, but my own local, similar experiences suggest (other than unexpected deaths of principals or natural disasters, etc.,) economic reasons (unexpected costs, underperforming advance revenue, sponsor(s) bailout, etc) cause these things to happen.
underlying issues may have seen brewing for a while, organizers hold out hope things will work out 'til the last minute, then BOOM --- they flat run outta time/money.
whenever the story comes out, bet it'll be a greenback issue(s) that broke the business model's back.
