SOLVED - ID help!!! non-Mopar seats, anybody/everybody please take a look?

I have no idea what these seats came from. I've wondered over the years (17, going by the date stamp), perhaps it's time to ask.
Someone will recognize these easily - if I can reach that person.

They are mounted in the car currently, so no way to look for clues underneath.
I've done some googling, but guessing at year and manufacturer (and model) makes that a daunting task.
My hunch is Japanese, but I don't even know that.
I believe the passenger one did have a small subwoofer box mounted under it, if that's a clue at all.

Tagging some folks whose names pop into my head, to hopefully get some eyeballs on this...

Took < 30 min from my post to an answer. I should've asked you guys years ago!
I was off in my googling by a full 10 years, and I hadn't even considered Subaru.


I have these in one of my cars, and they are quite comfortable and have a lot of adjustability.
Now I need to find a company that makes decent slip-on covers for them, or even OEM-type upholstery.
