Surface rust

Good morning all!! I have one quick question. I bought some new brake parts and the bin I had em stored in got water in it. Is it OK to immerse things like the booster and master in evapo rust or will it ruin em?? Thanks

It should be OK, as Evaporust is not solvent based.

They will need to be properly dried out too, afterwards... and will rust again of not coated with some sort of paint or proper finish.

Please don't take just my word for it - I was just thinking about rubber parts in addition to the metal parts...

Do more research.

I just spoke with a tech guy from CRC. So, for the record, evaporust will NOT harm the seals on the parts dunked into it. Thanks for the info but I just wanted to be sure.
