At the Albany, NY "Dad Fest" car show today, my car was recognized in the top 25 as voted by participants.
It's an unrestored, patinated survivor with just a few needed things added since coming out of a barn.
My hat is off to the show car owners who voted for their choices. Very few people said that they had ever seen a 1961 Dart before. I guess they appreciated voting for such a different car among the incredible restored cars that generally show up in show after show? It sure didn't win on looks alone!
Score one for old MOPARS and for the Forward Look (and for backward fins!)
