Hi!

does anyone know the torque specifications for the front suspension on a 1968 Plymouth Fury III, cant seem to find them anywhere?

Looking for upper/lower ball joint nuts/bolts and the wheel spindle nuts ect.

Car has drum brakes and i am looking to replace the lower bal joints soon.

thanks for the help already!:eek:ccasion14:

It is all in the FSM (Factory Service Manual), everything but the valve stem cap.

I just joined the forum and I stumbled on your post. I recently bought a 1968 Fury III Convertible myself and cannot wait to get it in tip top shape!

I found a Chilton's manual in the trunk for Plymouth 1968-1976. While they do not have a chart with torque specs as Hayne's manuals often do, they include the specs in the detailed instructions. So I pulled out what I could for the front end and included a screen shot for you, hope this helps! Let me know if I missed anything or if something isn't clear.

Thank you all! I guess I have to pick one of those manuals up....

Thanks for the Pic mgm1986! looks like I was redicolously close with my guessing of the torque specs. just by judging the size an how tight they were. Banged the Ball Joints on with 110ft/lb...close enough!
