Not sure if I have a vacuum leak or not. The brake pedal looses "boost" immediately after engine is shut off. Would this be the fault of the check valve? The vacuum hose is fine. And the booster works great...I think if I had a breech in the booster diaphragm, it wouldn't provide power assistance...?

I noticed this because on other cars with power brakes, you usually get a few power assist pumps in after the engine is shut off as residual vacuum is retained in the booster.

The CV is a little loose on the booster, looks like a foam gasket is the seal. I would like to replace it if I can find a new one...

Your thoughts...

should be a rubber seal. valve is snug in the seal but can be easily turned by fingers, if that makes sense.
