Vented or not vented ?

Hi everyone,

I have a 1970 Plymouth Sport Fury, and the gas tank has 2 rear lines. Both are vent lines, I know that already, from the FSM. I'm missing the short line, I have only the bigger loop line that goes in the trunk (I suppose I could just cap the shorter output).

Just to be sure: it means that I can use non-vented gas cap, right ?

Yes. You can also buy new lines from a number of suppliers, so you should be able to replace the missing little one. A member here has a Mopar busines - www.nationalmoparts.com - speak to Nigel. He can help.

The small one with the 180° loop at the top does not look like it would be that hard to make. Or at least make something that would work. Do you have a bracket that would hold it at the top?

Yes, I agree, it should be easy to make.
I still have some tubing that should do the trick.
I have to check for the bracket.
