What do you think?

Why may I ask a Gen 1 Viper as compared to other Vipers? Is this the top down only model? You will see lots of Vipers in your life as there are alot of them but not your car. Soon and now Vipers are at car shows and cruises and will be as common as Camaro's and Cuda's. While nice cars I get the feeling there are more Camaro's and Cuda's now than were made at the factory.

I appreciate everybody's opinion. This is a very tough decision for me. I am trying my best to have my cake and eat it too. I firmly believe that the Gen 1 viper in stock form will increase in value many years from now. It kick started the muscle car era again. I am not in it to make money, I will be the first to let you know I paid too much for Annabell(880). I will never get back what I have in it. I knew that when I bought it, I just fell in love with her first time I put my eyes on her. The only other car that does it to me is the viper, I am torn, but I will figure out something. A new challenger just does not do it for me, I live Kenosha, where we use to have a Chrysler plant, so everybody has a challenger or charger r/t.

Don't mess with Love man if it is that important get er done!

My Brother traded a 69 GTX 440 4 speed dana 60, air grabber, blue on black one owner car for a Gen 1 Viper many years ago. The original owner was a friend of my Dads. He was pilot, in the airforce, and special ordered the GTX with nothing power, and all go, when he was out of the country. The car was delivered in the US with a metal tag stating "export" near the radiator. Speedo was not metric. I have never seen another like it. It was a pretty even trade at the time. He has since sold that Viper. The guy he traded the GTX to eventually traded it for another Gen 1 Viper, lol.

if you are thinking about the viper as an appreciating investment, then you are already thinking about selling it before you have bought it.
sounds like the 880 might be more of a forever car.
