Hi, wondering if sill plates from another car would work on 1966 Polara convertible as they are not available. Thanks!![h=2][/h]

Don't limit yourself to convertibles, the 2-doors are the same.
The Plymouth and Chrysler will be the same C-Body only
I cannot comment on the different years but any slab should work, I know that in 69 there were two different styles (mid year change)

worth remembering when hunting for parts that most car companies, even today, tried to keep production costs to a minimum. If they could get away with across the range parts (especially ones that require special tooling / pressing) then they would. Sill plates fall into this category, as do door handles, locks, armrests, jacks etc etc. I keep detailed pics when I find them from across model ranges to help identify parts from other cars as and when I need them....good luck

cheers Steve
