Wood Grain

I've been a lurker on here for a few months, ever since my father bought his 1973 T&C. I had a hunch that someone out there most likely already went through what I am, and I wanted to ask. What type of wood grain is the most similar to the factory wood grain. Just trying to get an idea and see if anyone else had pinpointed it already.

3m makes a bunch of woodgrain decal kits i believe you can get samples from them and have a bunch to choose from.

Other than "ready-made" you might take the car to a vehicle wrap place and see if they can scan the existing woodgrain on the car, maybe color-correct it for age and exposure a bit, and then print you some AND install it.

I would suspect that if they can design and print and install some of the high-greaphic wraps, doing the woodgrain might be easy?

Well, we have considered going to a body shop to see what they could do, the only problem is that we live in a rural community, with the nearest body shop that could have that type of ability is most likely in the nearest big city, which for us would be Nashville. Most of the wood grain on the car is actually really faded, I tried to color match from where the letters used to be, because the wood grain there was decent, but it wasn't easy, and I haven't narrowed it down alot.
