Dave, do you have record of this burnt orange vert???:poke:

Sad that Carlisle is giving attention to the convertibles and "muscle car" C bodies (Sport Fury GT/ 300 Hurst) over the rest of the C bodies. They could have gone in a different direction and shown and excellent array of wagons, sedans hardtops from across the production run from 65-78 but no, they got pulled back into their muscle car rut.

And yes, I see a few slabs in there and one wagon, but that's a pretty poor showing for what is supposed to be the showcased cars.

These are nice cars to be sure, but Carlisle gets it wrong again!

I guess before they get bashed we should inquire to how many were submitted to the invitational? What models?

There is also a couple of slab Fury's and a to die for 66 T&C Wagon that also made the cut....

Carlisle almost never gets it wrong

I must agree with Dave, Carlisle does a very good job and they don't kill you with extras and huge price mark ups. They are very fair and are not trying to make it a super show that only the who's who of magazine cars are the only people that get treated decent, everybody should have a great time at Carlisle. There are other shows that were decent but have been taken over by Assholes that have driven the price up and moved dates and just making it not worth going.

Some people would find a reason to complain if they were giving away free ice cream at the beach.

Its less than a month away now...I can hardly wait to see what shows up this year.

This week the stripes are going on the B7 Sport Fury...the car is really coming along nicely.

Dave

I was scheduled to go to Moparfest this year. I'm REALLLLYYYY glad I'm coming to Carlisle instead to meet some of you and see your cars.

Congrats Dave. That's a well deserved accolade.

congradulations Dave. Does this mean you'll be spending your time with the feature cars..... Instead of us lowly, run of the mill, C body guys? :poke:

No..... I meant what I said, I need to be with the C body crowd. That is where I will be

Will there be more C's in a tent, or did I misunderstand?
