It looks like something derived from a 1956 Plymouth. Nothing 1959 about it.

Wayfarer... isn't that something they made in Australia? I know I've seen a Valiant Wayfarer before from Australia. Maybe they had different model years over there or back then. Like old tractors, very hard to tell what year they were. Lol

I like it.

I like the graceful curves up front, the near-smile it has, the hoodscoop, the flair from the taillights and mini-fins, the straight edges of the bed lip and tailgate. Like the utilitarian exposed hinges too, even though on paper such hinges should look awful.

A cool blend of style and function. They could've done the B-pillar a little better, though.
