SO SAD to see this happen to a first-year Monaco, wonder what the original color was? Being on the west coast it is probably rust free as well.......

Very sad indeed. Unfortunately you don't see many of these cars anymore.
I know I've seen it before but does anyone remember the 65 Monaco production numbers off the top of their head? Im sure Custom 880 and Polara numbers are higher.

I heard the seats were Red with White racing stripes.

No wonder my wife couldn't find a can of white Rust-Oleum to paint our lawn furniture, this guy bought them all to paint his car. Now I am stuck with green furniture.
