Hi all, new member as of today!
I am from Saskatchewan Canada, and have been a Mopar guy since I was 15 years old. A good friend who was considerably older than me took me for a ride in, at that time (1971), a one year old 1970 Super Bee, 440 6Pak 4 speed…. I will never forget that day!!
I was always a car guy, love a lot of different makes and models but that ride changed me forever !! The sound of the 6 Pak at WOT, the acceleration, just the total experience made me love the Mopar brand - Mopar or No Car haha!!
My daily runaround is a ‘67 New Yorker, 440 car… bought it from an older gentleman ( who became a dear friend), that had a stable of 23 or 24 ‘C‘ bodies from ‘64 to 1975… all 413 or 440 cars, and all in very good original condition….. Sherman was a shrewd old Norwegian bless his soul, but he never wanted to sell any !!
I finally talked him into selling me one, and he gave me a choice between a ‘64 or ‘67 New Yorker so took the ‘67.
a highway bomber, I just love hitting the road in it.
I’m also just finishing a resto on my ‘70 Charger 500, should be a lot of fun!!
Best Regards,
Hogie
