WOW, 2 black 69 fusie converts up for sale in last few days!!

The 500 trim is painted light argent, should be dark argent. They don’t get more stripped than this.

Thank you for posting. The VIN is incorrect -- I suspect it is DM27H9D241455

Assuming the sequence number is right, this is a pretty late-production '69 Polara 500 'vert. I note that it does not have the A85 bright trim work around the front.

Excuse my ignorance but what is the yellow thing on the inner fenderwell?

Besides the completely ugly white body side molding ruining the lines of the car, a black body with white top/interior is also a turn off. Make it all black and problem solved.

The Polara 500 trim should be black, not white.

Certainly stripped model for the asking price.

The car is said to be a "survivor" but I would venture that the washer bottle has not survived

That is a very good thing IMO!

As they used to say in Rome, "de gustibus et coloribus non disputandum est" -- otherwise I would respectfully disagree :)

I have to disagree I think white looks better with darker colors black better with lighter colors. Some colors can look great with either like B7 or FE5 or EV2.

Ideally with matching B or W interiors.

That's the super deluxe pump it up rear air shock kit so you don't have to search for a gas station air pump to adjust the rear shocks. The little white plastic hose(s) coming out of it is the line to the shocks. I think the knob under the dash is the controller, some would have a gauge that showed the pressure, today it would most likely be for a air bag suspension, in the 70's air bag (helper) were inserted into the coils or clamped onto the leaf springs.

I recently sold a 69 Polara 500 convertible in B7 blue with a black bucket seat interior fully loaded with options including a 440 HP engine to a friend in Arizona. The color combination on that car was fine to me but I would have preferred a white interior instead of black. To each his own.

Anyone noticed the un-silenced air cleaner aka Road Runner style on the 383 4bbl?
I wuz'gonna say Super Commando but being a Dodge I'd know'd I'd get roasted fer'dat! :poke:

On and HOSE!

Thats Polara 500 Moldings.

However... I dont know if it should have those moldings AND the standard BSM.

It’s the Polara 500 molding and the inset area should be satin black to be original.
