If you're thinking of putting wheels on it,..I would go with Magnum 500s or Cragar SS wheels, but it is your car. The car will look good whatever you choose to do with it! It's a Badass MOPAR!!!

I'm leaning towards Vision 142 wheels, pictured below:
Wheels/tires will be a ways down the road. Whatever color I decide to go with on the car will be the determining factor for the color of the spokes. They're available in chrome, black, and gunmetal. I'll probably go with a staggered setup of 17X8 up front with 18X9 in the rear. I'll have to do some measuring to see if the rears will fit and what backspacing they'll need to give the stance that I want.
Those wheels look nice.

Ummmmmmm........ OK.
I can understand that side of the coin but I can't see spending money on bling when there's repairs to be done.
When these cars end up on CL, we tear them a new new azzhole.
I'll pop for a pine tree hanging from the mirror up front but that's it.

I've read about your budget paint jobs and I'm impressed with the results. Are you going to paint this in Valspar or Rustoleum?

Probably not. I've painted a few more cars since that one. My ability and confidence is a somewhat higher now. I also now have a garage and better equipment. I rebuilt a wrecked Miata a couple of years ago and fell in love with satin paint. I'm leaning towards a two tone on this car with possibly some satin metallic from Hot Rod Flatz in a green, blue, or turquoise hue with an accent color.
As far as thinking about wheels way too soon, they're not a priority at then moment. The wheels will be way down the road towards the end of the build. Really, nothing is a must do right now except fixing the oil leaks because it pisses in my driveway. That, and cleaning up the engine bay. I hate an ugly motor.
I drove the car on a 150 mile round trip last night with no issues. I simply want to improve the car.

HMMMM. Had you pigged as residing very close to the Alamo? Like across the street at the River Walk. Down Broadway ah few blocks from the only Drive In restaurant in Tejas that's been in the same spot doing business since the 1930s..ie: THE PIG STAND

I'm about 30 miles east of Austin in Bastrop where the big fire was in 2011. Our neighborhood was one of the ones that burned down.
Had I bought new wheels and tires right away, my tires would have dry rotted at the body shop over the last few years. LOL. Good grief, it's taking forever to get my car back.
