The Formal Photo Thread

I cant have anything stock my last 67 imperial sedan i had was a great cruiser but i have an extra B body 8.75 around as well so I'll change rear ends first with a set of 3.55 gears maybe that will pep this girl up enough i wont have to change the heads...right away. Lol there is no rust either which is fantastic coming from Minnesota/Wisconsin what is this thing worth roughly?

color and combos are important. Some colors and combos are more desirable hence more money. History and paperwork could help as well. From the pics you’ve posted IMO, 3.5-4 thousand ISH range. Again, looking at what pics and info you’ve given.

Well, I found it on Craigslist. Posted in Evansville Indiana. Listed with 44k on the clock. No evidence to the contrary. I have all the paperwork from the original purchase. Receipts from the owner I purchased it from. So for everything I've replaced under the hood (minus the voltage regulator) still has the Mopar markings on them. My father drove up from western KY to check it out, I live in Roanoke VA. He gave it his seal of approval. I flew in, bought a trunk load of parts and tools. Sailed it back to VA. A relatively smooth trip with a few hiccups. Chrysler built it with AC, Cruise, vinyl top, 400 cu in, 2bbl, am/fm radio, and little else. The day after i got home, the radio quit, the next day I drove it the speedometer refused to do its sole task. Two days ago I replaced the intake and 2bbl. The pics are in my garage.
I bought this car because I wanted to fill a life long dream to own a Bluesmobile, I couldn't find one I could afford, so I decided I was going to find the nicest one in my price range. To my amazement there just aren't that many floating around. I love the car. I'm just gonna keep fixing the little things that quit working, and preserve it to the best of my ability. My 10 yr old daughter is under the assumption that I bought it for her. Although its incorrect assumption, she is going to help me keep it up. : )

Thank you for the details, she sure looks like a nice one. Thank you for not following your dream to detail of converting this beauty to the ratted out bluesmobile that you dream of. If your daughter is your only child at this point, and you decide to keep the car for the duration, I would say her dreams are too far off. Lol

Drive and enjoy

I'm not sure I'll ever give it up. I've hand my 94 Impala SS for 18 yrs and drove it daily for most of them. My 70 El Camino has been in my family since 1996. Both were dream cars. Given the fact these cars are a rare sight, and this one is super clean. No rust to speak of. I replaced the gas tank and wow. Its really something. But, it lived in Texas til sometime in the early 2000s then it found itself in Indiana. I'll post the fender tag in the next few days. Its snowing like hell here, and it won't fit in my garage. A minor oversight on my part. My daughter will get it eventually. Along with everything else if she wants it.

That car is way too nice to convert into a Blumo.

Some others pics I found of mine. Anyone know who carry any of this thin seat material to recover the seats. It is splitting everywhere from being so old.

SMS has it.

Some really nice cars posted on this thread. Here is a 77 Royal Monaco Brougham I bought 2 years ago. It was sold new in Las Vegas and spent about 40 years there before going a couple of hours up the road to southern Utah. And that's where I bought it from. It's an extremely rare 440 2 door. The previous owner did a lean burn delete on it and added Cal Custom valve covers. The interior is in excellent condition. Only negative I have found is the original vinyl top is dry and cracking.
