Agreed Pete, much better. I was on the fence with my 77, I’m convinced now. Did you have to have the sides repainted after the removal?

No, the car was repainted about 6 years before I purchased it so I had a professional body shop do it.

I'm afraid that i have to repaint after removing the edge guard. I know that this sidebars are not so pretty, but the car is totally original, it's the first paint !!

That is why you go to a trusted professional body shop and get their opinion and estimate.
