Drive shaft length, 70 Newport

Anyone have a measurement for the drive shaft, U-joint c/c, for a 70 Newport, 727 , 8 3/4

58 inches. That's from my old '71 Newport custom four door hardtop, it's just laying around. 383, 727, 8 & 3/4". Should be the same as the one you're fixing up??
