The 300 looks like an excellent deal, not much more than scrap value. Would need to lay eyes on, not much in the way of good pics-

Chrysler 300 Convertible . Only 1,933 Chrysler 300 convertibles produced in 1969. Guess you would consider it a "barn find" as is all original including the 440 CI engine but has been sitting in storage for over 30 years untouched. It is in rough shape and might be considered a parts vehicle. Have detailed pics with full appraisal upon request. Next to the 300 is a 1969 Fury III convertible in better shape. Please see that ad under Plymouth as I would like to sell both together. $1,200 OBO

Plymouth Fury III Convertible. One of 3,830 Furry III convertibles produced in 1969.All original including the 318 CI engine but has been sitting in storage for over 30 years untouched. Guess you could considered it a "barn find". It is in restorable condition per detailed appraisal. Next to the Fury is a Chrysler 300 convertible in rough shape considered to be a parts car. Please see that ad under Chrysler as I would like to sell both together. $4,500 OBO

thanks to a member for getting eyes on for me, and a responsive, cooperative seller.

I do not plan a restoration .. no time or money as its a big job.

this is my third - and last - '69 300 vert.

sometime over next five years I think I can make two good ones. Not show cars by any means .. just cool drivers with a little more giddyup outta their high compression 440's.

I didnt look at either in person, but seller did provide a total of 300 honest pics for both cars.

The Fury III is in better overall shape, 318 (E44) car, one owner .. but BOTH were in Michigan their whole lives. That took a toll on their lower regions/underside.

Seller is easy to work with so I urge anyone with interest to ring him/get the pics. you'll be able to determine your interest from the all the pics.

the '69 300. Lower fenders, rockers, quarters ... really rough. its all there though...

Driver seat material shot (broadcast sheet still under it), passenger seat rough, dash good, rear seat pretty good, top material OK too.

I saw that. but I can’t read it with 100% certainty because FCBO downsamples photos. That’s why I asked @amazinblue82
Ah I understand now, yes you are right I see. It is hard to read. I saved it to my computer and t's still a bit blurry if I zoom in, I'm reading it off my computer right now and the bottom line to me reads.......

amazinblue82, do you have a better picture of the tag by chance?

I have a 1970 Chrysler convertible I am looking for parts car mine is all rusted out.
me too .. this one IS a parts car. sheet metal from lower body line down does not appear easily (if at all) rehabilitated/reused.

but its complete and largely unmolested since it left the factory.

I can use it as a "template" for my plans. make TWO decent ones outta three 69 verts I now have.

good luck with you with your '70.
