Trying to undo a mistake I made 20 years ago when I sold my original "mint condition" 66 Sport Fury that my grandparents bought new.
I really need to buy a 1966 Sport Fury so I can work on it with my kids, the way I did when I was a kid.
I would prefer a complete, rust-free, running car with A/C. If it is missing the eng/trans or needs paint/body work that's ok. I just don't want to have to hunt down a million interior parts and trim pieces. Convertible is fine if minimal rust.

I have been looking online for months, but it seems the only ones for sale are ads from 5 years ago, or complete rust buckets.
If you know someone who has one, perhaps I can persuade him to part with it...

Thanks,

Well I'm restoring a 66 Sport Fury Convertible, I bought it 11/27/21 and drove it 3 miles before I started taking it apart. Since then I rebuilt the 318 Poly engine auto trans, interior is being restored, and I had the body painted original Teal with white drop top, black interion with out A/C. Underside is undercoated (i have a lift in the garage) the car also has fender skirts !
Bumpers are prefect! I have all but 2 pieces of trim, and missing mirrors.
It's sitting on brand new 15" chrome Magnum 500 wheels and white wall new tires.

How much you willing to pay for that mistake 20 years ago.

Mike

Hi Mike.
I replied to your post, but I am new at this and probably didn't do it right.. I am open to discussing the price, and yes I know my sentimental value is going to cost me. I have seen nice ones in ads in the $25K to $35K range. Can you send some recent pics? Where is the car located?
Thanks,
--Dave

Hi Dave - I'm located in Grayslake IL., it is near the Wisconsin boarder and 5 miles from to Lake Michigan
The Fury still needs to be completed. A new windshield and gasket are go to be being installed next week. My body shop guy still has to hang to doors, fenders, and so no. Plus complete exhaust system.
* The paint is original color but just repainted to "Lite Aqua Poly" or simply Teal.
* Interior seating (Black) is being completed by the end of the month, then carpet and white power top to be installed.
* 318 was completely rebuilt (now 0.40 over bore) new pistons. cam, lifters, distributor.
* I have a book of receipts for everything I bought I have a good title.
* I have a good title.
* So much more to tell you about the Fury.
What is your cell phone number? I'll send some pictures. If still interested will talk $$$
