Seller's Description:
This 47k mile 1978 Chrysler New Yorker is a true American classic! The last of the big-bodied domestic land yachts, you'll find yourself humming "I'm on a boat" as you cruise smoothly along the highway. It's all original, rock solid throughout, and a genuine #survivor! It was parked in barn decades ago by an elderly local gentleman, and I purchased it last year at his estate auction. Now, after considerable effort, mucho dinero, and many shiny new parts, it's fully operational once more.
It sports 4 brand-new tires (those nipples aren't because it's cold..) new brake calipers, new battery, a new fuel system that includes a new tank (extremely hard to find now and quite pricey), a new pickup and sending unit, a new mechanical pump and fuel filter, and the OEM Thermoquad carburetor was fully rebuilt. The oil and filter are freshly changed, and I installed new belts. The 400 cubic inch big block also got new spark plugs, a new air filter, and a new battery. Clear title in my name. Located in Maryville, TN. $4,950 OBO Scammers needn't bother - I'm a cop. No, I don't need help listing or selling. Serious buyers only

Looks like something was resting on the trunk lid? Can't tell.

What colour is it LOL! The sun makes some of the pics look like Jasmine yellow, the add says its White, but I'm going to say Dove Grey because of the interior.

Very fair price considering the prices I've been seeing lately for cars in far worse shape.

Dove gray was the most popular colour in 78 afterall

20.5% of the 9,624 78 NYB coupes were RA1 Dove Gray for a total of 1,973

My pal got hot and bothered over this one, and wanted me to drive him down to pick it up. UNTIL, I blew up the pictures, and pointed out the cracked steering wheel, tattered kick panels, and tape on the front seat upholstery. I'm thinking 147K.

That's very interesting! Where did you get that information?

If you remember, Ford also used a similar hue in that time frame. VERY VERY elegant. Especially with the Red pinstripes. If only it DID nor have a lean burn and no ATC.

Hey Marty, is this 78 sold or do you still have it? Seriously interested! I have cash! Let me know! Cheers!

As the title says "not mine" this 78 isn't owned by Marty. You should contact the actual seller through the Craigslist link
