Sunroof

Ok guys, (polara you were right), last night I figured I would check a few ads before I went to bed and found a sunroof. Problem is, it came out of a 74 imperial. I've always heard that the 4&5 imperials carried a different sized panel than the newyorkers. Any truth to this or just BS?

74-78 will have the same size sunroof assembly. No size difference for the last of the big Imperials...if it's a Formal sunroof, it'll work.

Wish it would have came with the service manual. I have nothing to go off of

Service manuals can be found all over EBay cheap. Parts Manual has a nice semi exploded view of the sunroof.

i have a '78 new yorker with intact sun roof , but no drive line- apparently they are hard to find- glad i kept it now

Just don't ask a ridiculous price and I'm sure if would be an easy sell. This spring I found 3. One guy wanted a grand, another wanted 800. 500 for the one in Montana but shipping was crazy. People can price their parts however that want but sometimes.........wow

Got it. And it's fully functioning. The guy I bought it from was an old school Mopar guy. Worked for Chrysler for 30+ years. Awesome awesome guy to deal with.

My'76 shows no such section a/o group. Weird......
Sunroof is not even in the index.
