is the heater valve on the right side of ac line hook up, or the ones on the left, and is that 5/8 or 3/4 hose,, thanks

Usually heater valve is outboard, heater core towards center of vehicle

5/8" hose in 1966

1970 started with one hose 1/2"

Chrysler didn't use 3/4" heater hose on USA cars in the 60's and early 70's

In the factory service manual, there is a heater hose AND flow direction graphic illustrating what hose is where and such. www.mymopar.com for free download of the manual.

Plus a hvac case graphic with the heater core picture (installed in the hvac case and such).

Restoring the AC/heat on my 65 300L. Yes it has 2 heater cores combined in one frame. There is also a second heater control valve inside the evaporator/heater core box with heater hoses and clamps in the box. My dash is currently removed. Don’t ask. Since the co figuration does not match anything in the 65 service manual, I think this was a late year change as the parts ordered for up to 68.

Might check the 1965 Chrysler Parts Manual for hvac box illustrations.

Maybe the '66 Chrysler FSM, as I believe that year has the picture of the dual-core hear core assy.
