Looking for a full set of usable stock standard size pistons. Maybe you went .030 over and have the standard set laying around. These are flat-top, not dished and will have a Compression Height of 1.89 I believe. The part number should be 1879-333 (I think). Don't necessarily need the pins, but if you have them available, I'd take those too. This is for my Plymouth Fury build.
Alternatively, I found a new set online off a link I saw in this forum, but didn't bookmark it before shutting down the computer. If you happen to recall the link that would be most appreciated as I have looked for the past week and can't find it. Might have been a link to one of the other F*CO sites which had the link to the pistons, not sure.
Willing to pay shipping or can pick up if around the 7 state area of Iowa.
Thanks, Corey

I have a box on the shelf labeled 67 383 pistons. They came out of a 67 Polara I scrapped back in the very early 90's. If you were interested in them I can dig the box out and take a look. I thought I had thrown them out but they might still be in the box. I don't know how they compare to a 65 piston.

Parts book says they are the same. I took a look at mine and mine are dished. You want the premium fuel pistons and I believe your part number is correct.

Thanks for looking 65CC. I have a set of dished, but they have a lot of pitting on the head. I could probably use them, but I would prefer the flat tops like were in the engine originally. The original pistons were pretty trashed as well as the block. The block the dished came out of is in really good shape. Cylinder bores spec'd out within tolerance! So I'm trying to keep the "HP" in the car even though it will not be the original block.

And Big_John, I looked at the Egge site, but they don't seem to list the spec's other than the basics. No CH llisted. Appreciated the link.

You might want to call them. Since they make them, they would have the specs.

They should list the specs though.

Have a set of 2863114 pistons with rings removed from a rebuilt 383 that had a damaged block. New block had to go .040 over so went with a set of ICONS. Let me know if they will work for you. Ron

Ron, do you happen to know what specific vehicle they came out of? That number may be for a 68 or 69 HP engine. Or more importantly, what the compression height might be?
I'm definitely interested if they match specs.
Thanks!

You are correct in that they are a 68/69 HP piston but that's all I know about them. Bought the engine as a rebuilt ready to run and found water had gotten into 1 cylinder and pitted the bore. Upon disassembly found damage in the valley around a couple lifter bores so choose to find another block. New block had to go .040 over so swapped these pistons out with a set of ICONS. I'm sure someone on here or possibly thw B Body site would know the detailed specs of them. I did a search but didn't come up with much.
