It breaks my heart to sell her. But it really breaks my heart to watch her waste away in the street while I drive my Mustang.
Located in Portland (Aloha) Oregon. $12,500.

Good luck with CS23T1C252065 -- beautiful Alvah! From the FB ad:

"I'm the 2nd owner of this wonderful survivor 1971 Chrysler 300. It was a daily driver for me for for just under 10 years (other than motorcycles). It has the original legendary Chrysler 440 V8 engine and automatic transmission.

I have completely rebuilt the suspension with a full FirmFeel kit including upgraded leaf springs, stiffer torsion bars, front and rear anti sway bars, stage 2 power steering box, and Bilstein shocks. I have also upgraded the stock disk brakes with 4 wheel disk, all new brake lines, and a Baer Brakes billet master cylinder. The car rides like a dream.

The bad... original paint is showing its age and the 98 year old lady who owned it before me gave a dent or two. The driver's seat and vinyl top need replaced. All in all though, the interior is in very good shape and the paint holds a nice shine like a car that spent it's 1st 44 years in a garage. It starts easily cold and runs very nice once it's warmed up, but it does seem to avoid wanting to easily start up once it's warm.
"

Questions: any rust? What works / what does not (beside what you've noted in the ad -- radio, what happened to the rim blow wheel, , A/C, heater, fan, etc.)? Thanks in advance for answering.

Rim blow wheel is in the trunk (not great condition). Not really any rust. There appears to be a small amount of bubbles under the top on the pillar, but where the top is ripped below the back window there is only surface rust. The car was garaged for its 1st 44 years and 84,000 miles. The radio works. The horn doesn’t work. The clock doesn’t work, but I suspect it was unplugged to save a battery and I never bothered plugging it back in. Hidden headlights work. AC has not been hooked up since I’ve had the car, no idea of the usability of the components or what’s wrong other than no belts going to the compressor.

Sorry, to see this one go. I love this car. I talked to you several years ago about it when it was parked by rs6 regularly.
And I did knee jerk for a moment but I'll stay the course with my 69 even though it would honestly make more sense to go this route and I love the 71's. I just jumped on to see if the secret was out as I just seen it on marketplace. Good luck, I'm going to try not to think about it.

Has the original timing chain and sprocket with its original plastic teeth ever been changed?

I don't honestly know. I got the car with 84,000. I have had the heads zero decked and a valve job when I was replacing head gaskets, but that is about as far as I've gone into the engine. It may have been done already when I bought the car, or I may have who knows what nylon teeth?

Sale Pending! I have agreed to terms with a buyer (from FCBO!) and we will be finalizing Friday when I return from work travel. Thank you all for showing interest in her. I am going to be very sad to see her go, but they promised to lover her!
