Seller's description

72 Plymouth fury3 built December of 71 it has 30k original miles I've put about 1000 on it in the last year it's has a 360 v8 and a 787 transmission I just recently I had it out and it got hotter then usual about 3/4 th of the way to hot i panicked brought it home replaced the water pump and now the temp gauge doesn't work I put a new thermostat in it a couple of weeks ago just to freshen it up a lil and sense the temp gauge is not working I can't tell if it's getting hot or not and honestly I'm tired of messing with this it's needs a roof as well with two other daily driver classic cars this one is just not worth holding on too anymore I love it a lot and I'll miss the thing. If your offering trades it has to have a engine for me to consider it

Looks like a nice car other than the vinyl top rust. I thought my roof was bad, this one is really bad.

Wow. Never seen a roof do that.
Could be a factory installed vinyl top with the delete roof paint callout that caused that. Many vinyl tops were added on at the dealer so the car would have a fully painted roof giving it more protection from rusting. Believe me the other mechanic in the shop I worked with in 1972 his son made a good living doing vinyl top installs for dealers back then.

More accurate as the delete roof option. Pop in a stainless steel roof panel like they offered with the 50's Imperials and you are good to go.
