I picked up another neat car. I've known about the car at least 15 years, but the owner never quite wanted to sell. I went yesterday and must have caught him at the right moment. Too bad I didn't get it 15 years ago, it was probably a lot more solid then.
It's an oddball, it's a 1965 Plymouth Savoy but in a C body... same as the Fury I in the US.
2 door post, notice no reverse lights. Slant 6 and automatic. Very bare bones C body with manual steering, manual brakes, no rear arm rests, bench seat and rubber floor.
But engine runs and I have paperwork.
Plan is to make it a safe driver, most likely leave the slant 6 in it as it does run. Maybe change it up down the road.
Parked outside since 2007.

The valve cover appears to be from the 1970s; so you might want to check the numbers on the engine.
Pretty easy to change a valve cover, or perhaps the original engine was wrecked. Lots can happen in 60 years. Regardless, I think I'm going to leave the slant in it, as it is a pretty unique combo.

Cool find. Could you please post a picture of the fender tag for the tag nerds? We don't get to see cars like that very often,
