Found this ad on Facebook Marketplace. This is my first time posting on here other than replying. I’ve tried to make sure I’m following the rules. Apologies if I missed something. Just wanted to let you all know about this fine beauty! This is from the post

“1969 Dodge Polara, Mopar J code 440, runs well haven’t had any problems out of the motor or transmission, has new plug wires and fuel pump, the car was repainted before I bought it so the door jams are green and the clear coat is peeling very badly. Vinyl top has seen better days. Pretty straight body, minor rust besides under the vinyl. Currently needs at least one new tire but otherwise she’s ready to go.”

Thank you @Stocktonian92 for posting. I am afraid to ask what is lurking below that vinyl top. Did the seller make the fender tag available?

Yikes, the bumps under that top are grotesque. They remind me of the "body mods" that people get to have horns and such to look like a lizard or the devil or something...

Thank you @Stocktonian92 for posting the tag of DL43F9D295983. She was born with a 318.

Three interesting items on the tag at first pass:

1. This Polara looks like another example of a late-build (June 4, 1969 SBD) with the A48 "Polara dress-up group" code but no front end extra chrome. See here for a discussion of what the A48 code entails. @MrMoparCHP

Note: DL43F9D295983 was originally painted F3 Light Green Poly with an L1G green interior, and it is now blue with a black interior -- so there is a non-zero probability that the front end chrome surround might have been removed. Somehow, I don't think so.

2. The car also has the A26 "Polara Value package/White Hat special". See here for a discussion. @69CoronetRT

3. The interior is coded L1G. I find it interesting that green is coded F outside and G inside the car. How did "F" get chosen to designate "green"? B blue, Y yellow, T tan / brown, Q for turquoise given T is already taken, W for white -- but other colors are harder to understand: K orange, L beige, R was making sense for red but then became E, X for black, etc.

Here's something I found...

There is a name change to A48 sometime in late August of 1968.

Here are two different invoices from the same car plus an invoice from a different car.

The 8/16 invoice lists A48 as PROTECTION GROUP
The 9/4 and 10/28 invoices lists A48 as POLARA DECOR GROUP

meaning, the components within the A48 group may have changed from the initial offering.

We need to find window stickers or other documents that list package components for comparison.

Research continues.
