Seat upholstery L2B3

Just be aware that it would be nothing short of a miracle if SMS procures and ships what you need before your container leaves in 3 weeks. Months to years is their usual lead time.
Unless they have the material handy. That was my experience for one of my orders -- but only after I had requested and checked the samples. If @Gearhead wants samples (which I strongly recommend), then the window will have closed.

Maybe I'm lucky. Got just this email:

We actually mailed you samples for this car about a week ago (through the Post Office). Here are pictures of our copy of what was mailed to you. How much of each do you need? I can set up the order today for you.

Best regards, Doug

Can anyone help me about that quantity? How much i do need for front and rear each ones? A:blue and B:light blue?

All right! Would be great if you could post pics comparing the above pic with the grain on your car’s vinyl — both dark and light. .

I over ordered because I didn’t know. Here’s the full thread. Post #83 has the quantity for bench seats (68 Polara). Order a yard or more extra in case of screw ups.
Epic 68 Polara bench seat rebuild for originality

Front and back light grain just over 4 yards so will need 5 yards of the seat cushion grain (including back of front seats).
The course grain for the seat inserts (quilted cushion) took right at 4 yards with no mistakes.

If you are going to do your head rests, you will need another yard.
I also noticed your stitched seat top goes all the way way across. Mine had the other vinyl as a middle section to match the seat back. I kept mine just under 4 yards. You may need 5 yards for that section front and rear.
Your rear seat does look pretty good so maybe need less. One thing of note, my samples from SMS was right on for color match, but the roll of vinyl was more Burgundy. When I got the rolls I looked at it and thought it looked fine but a year later when I was ready to use it I noticed the color tone difference. Since I did the front and rear you really can’t tell unless another car with the original color is closely compared. So if you are only doing the front a very close match will be important.

Astronomical price but it's fine eventually. Polara gets new seats upholstery
139usd/yard for darker
109usd/yard for light blue
54 inches wide.
They have it in stock, and get it in the container less than 3 weeks.

SMS says that i need 3.5 yard darker and 4.5 yard lighter for both seat's. So these will be the quantity for both seat's. Hope it's enough. That we will see when i get polara. Thanks everyone to honest help

Getting the correct pattern and color isn't cheap. I was happy with what I got from SMS. Although 10 years ago it was in the $70 - $80 range. Good luck on your project.
