'73 Imperial Circling the Drain

Found this on my local Craig's List this evening. I think he wants too much for it ($3k) and he's in distress without proper paperwork. I see a towing and crushing in its future.

73' Chrysler that was owned by my grandfather. He bough the car new in 73. The car has a 440 v8, power everything and around 55,000 miles on the odo. Overall the car is in good shape. Obviously the paint and vinyl top need work. However the interior is in good shape. The car is currently not running but will. It needs a battery and fresh gas to get going again. I have to get rid of it due to issues with the city.
I am looking for 3,000 and may have to let the car be lean sold if I cannot find his old paperwork.
