To keep the '62 sedans company.

Found one! I was hoping for a slant 6, manual trans car so we'll see what transpires. At least it is west of the Mississippi. Left message with owner.

Too much money for a car that needs a new interior, rebuilt trans and who knows what else. Owner took the car on trade and knows nothing about it. The search continues.

Expanding my search to include '61 Dodge Seneca or Pioneer. I would still prefer a base model car, slant 6 manual trans. Gotta be 2 door sedan, not a total resto and if it is west of the Mississippi even better.

Thanks, Drue

Don't be too sparse with additional pics. ;)

How Long did it take to shake off all the wheel covers ?

This is what it looked like at my parents house in early 66. My 62 Fury and Moms 62 Dart.

Wil: That car is so cool. What motor did you have in it? Was it that HP-383 with two four-barrels and the Clay Smith solid lifter cam ?!?

Back then it was cool to remove the wheel covers, kind of a "all business" look I guess. My buddy would borrow his dads 63 Valiant coupe and as soon as we got around the corner the wheel covers were popped of. I later put ET mags on the front and chrome reverse wheels on the rear of the Fury. They were about the only choices you had then. The Plymouth was red on red.

I wish, although if I did have that much power with the tires of the day I might not be posting right now. It was a 318 poly power pack and torqueflight.
