1966 Chrysler Newport sedan. Decent exterior condition. Interior is very good.
383 ci big block
2 bbl Stromberg carburator
New battery
Last inspected in 2003, tuned up at that time... stored indoors since then.
Just reset the points and put a new coil on... it is running and idling nice.
This is a nice, unique car. Like driving a couch down the highway! The paint can use a good buff and the driver's front fender needs some work... and a few small areas elsewhere. Typical for an unrestored car of this era. The passenger doors were repainted about 15 years ago. I think I have the trim from those doors around.
This would be a great starter car for someone interested in restoring classics... or a young enthusiast.
Lots of potential with the 383... upgrade manifold/carb/exhaust and you will have a runner.
