It would behove me as a seller to buff it up a little before listing it. That leads me to think that thing is looking as good as it gets.

make shure you know if its the older style for the gear caps and not the newer with domed caps

The mounting holes on back are still virgins..........? I'd like to meet the sexually frustrated guy that wrote that into a part description.

It's behoove, but anyway, I know some sellers wont touch an original part even if it makes it look much better to sell. Some buyers prefer it that way, its a damned if you do, damned if you don't sort of thing.

Yup, it's later style, If i was looking at an early cap you would never have seen it listed here, ;) The box has 1972 on it.

This is a 78/ 79 Aluminum fascia wheel (aka "Salon wheels") centre dome. The domes a caps were different on the "Salon wheel" than the road wheels used. These ones were shorter in dimension (you can see the lip around the bottom is not nearly as thick as a road wheel centre) and steeper in contour...look closely at the holes where the lug nuts go and you'll see what I mean.

Here's a pic to help.

The Road Wheel dome and cap are far more pleasing to the eye.
But someday just had to screw with it justify his Jr. Designer salary.
