I remember walking back and forth to school in the pouring rain, and it was uphill both ways.

I only lived 4 blocks from my grade school. My brother and I use to walk the snowbanks to school instead of using the sidewalks............we were late for school every time we took the snowbanks.

Yep, born and raised in Milwaukee. Last time I lived there was 1976. I lived outdoors for the next 20 years and (semi) retired in Aberdeen in 1996.

I just had to clear a rain gutter clogged with leaves. I just cleaned gutters out 2 days ago. I'll have one hell of a "to do list" when this hurricane is over. I'll have to take down some trees that could possibly fall on my house. Some sort of rain gutter system to keep the leaves out. Standby whole house generator, etc.........The Imp acquistion will probably get pushed back a bit.
