  • Hi, reaching out to you because you also have a 70 Newport.
Do you know the best way to reach the top bolt on the starter?
Rainy weekend here in IL. Haven't driven her in a couple of weeks; missing the feel.
Hey brother what is going on? Do you guys just PM or have offline conversations? Don't see a ton of activity happening usually.

thanks for the message :) the rims are stock 15/7 Chrysler rims and the tires are 285/70R15 BF Goodrich Radial T/A which they no longer make. but if you really want a pair you can buy them from Coker Tire. but they are not cheap
I am thrilled to own this car. My dream to have an old car. And to get this one is the best. The history is what makes this car.
Greetings. I'm a hardcore MOPAR head who especially digs old 69-73 Chrysler fuselage cars. Soon to be classics on par with Hemi this and 440-6 that, just wait and see. Although I've owned different cars from the "c" body line, the current one is a 1970 Chrysler Newport 2dr model. It has a 383 cu in engine, factory A/C, am/fm radio, light package, and full vinyl interior among other options. I found it in north jersey. It was owned by the proverbial old lady who purchased it new from a Brooklyn NY dealer in 1970. It's super clean, although it has some of the typical issues 40 plus year old c body cars have, just not as badly.
