You are probably right, although EVERY time I've contacted him for a part he hasn't had it.

I thought I had a set but forgot the Fury has different bars than the Polara.

Thanks Alan, I was just about to mention I have set from my 73 Polara. Wasnt sure if theyd fit

Simply measure the length against the Plymouth unit, I believe from 72 to 73 Dodge changed to the same length unit

He's been pretty good with having parts that I requested. If not try Moore's Auto Salvage in N. Dakota. They have alot of inventory.

Furys had a 2" shorter wheelbase.
Whereas that is true, the difference is in the back seat area on all other Mopars, one would expect it to be the same with C-Bodies.
I thought the difference in WB has come up before and the difference was in the filler panel in the rear seat floor. Furthermore there was also discussion that you could stick a Plymouth stub frame in a Dodge with no problems as long as you used the Plymouth torsion bars.

OK, I remember that thread now.
The floor pan was stretched 2" aft of the stub frame on the Dodge and Chryslers.
Also we discovered the anchor mounts for the torsion bars on the Fury was 2" shorter yet on the same stub frame as the Dodge and Chrysler.
Thanks for jogging the memory.

Then there's that whole Torsion-Ride stub frame nonsense.
We need a spreadsheet...

But still not short enough to use a b-body bar?

Why would you put old torsion bars on, when you can get brand new ones? The torsion bar is a spring after all, and all spring metal fatigues with age.
