1966 Chrysler newport 4 door sedan engine ran great before clutch went out , has good running 383 BB and a three speed on the column. Very rare and hard to find C-body manual pedals and belhousing. Please call 505 239 two588 or 505 286 4647 for more info and pictures. Will ship ca

Too cool... and a very early lean burn car too I see...

The manual parts may all this one has going for it... unfortunately

It also has the passenger side valve cover mounted on the driver's side.
It's a parts car, period. The only reason I posted it.

Did the 3 speed use the 11" or the 10-½" flywheel and bell housing?
11" is as useless as tits on a bull. AMHIK.

So Z bar, Pedals. Can all be used for a 4 on the floor Conversion?

Depending on the original motor it can be either, but from 1970 on, all cars had the 10.5in, but you can still get clutch plate and pressure plates for either still.

Yes they can, the zbar may need to be modified slightly but if you are competent with a welder it isnt an issue. Plus you get the zbar pivot mount off the chassis rail too as well as the related pushrods etc. Lastly, in this car it appears it might have a 400 in it, the color of the engine plus the air cleaner suggest it.

If it came from a BB car.
Z-bar would be wrong if it came from a /6 car.
Don't know about SB.
Stan, Bittersweet can not leave your possession until It has A Proper 4 -speed conversion. But if that happens then you will never want to give it up lol.

No. I want this to be exactly like my first 67. Not going to ruin it for the future caretakers if and when that day comes.
In fact, if I am still alive, I may require the buyer to sign a covenant on what they can and cannot do. I will assign the task of Covenant Compliance to you.

The shame is they will never have the exact same connection you do. I think the best you could hope for is someone who has a strong connection of their own.

It was "her baby, dammit" and she didn't want anybody driving it.
Cars for sale like that come along once in a lifetime.

Stan, I do know what you mean. I feel honored Mr C picked me, I will feel more responsibility to him and all he's done than I ever will concern for the next owner's receiving condition. Thanks for sharing.
