Coming home from the gym my thermometer was reading 124! Not really sure it was that hot but it did hit 119 for sure at our house.

Good lord. I was in 114F weather in Longmont CO during one summer in the late 80's. Don't care what anyone says, over 100 and it don't matter where I am, I don't even wanna think about going outside.

And I thought it was bad here in Southern California today, at 109F! Tomorrow doesn't look any better.
