I decided to list this posting on its own because it could be a rare factory 440 car. As some of you will know, there are something like 6 factory 440 cars known to exist. This may be one more? It is certainly worth bringing it to everyone's general attention. Also, it may be factory black?

Chances the floor is completely rotted out seems somewhat high. Kind of sad zero attempt to keep it covered appears to have been made.

Have not seen the tag but he told me its an original 440 car.

To my knowledge you have never seen this car in person, if you don't have anything credible to add move on

I can see what I can see from the pictures, and I stand by my comment. As you are not a moderator here, you don't get to tell me to leave the thread. You need schooled in how things work here.

If an admin wants to chastise me for calling out someone spreading false info, so be it. I didn't tell you to leave a thread, I said if you have nothing to add you should keep scrolling. I didn't post this car here and since I know you've never seen it I don't know what you could add but speculation

Not speculating. I can see this thing needs paint, body, interior, likely an engine rebuild. Shall I go on? I'm not saying it's a POS, I'm saying this is a huge project.

You can do what you want. The ad accurately describes what it is and is not. Anyone that was interested got about 30 pics sent to them, including the fender tag. Yes it is a factory 440 car. I believe it was originally red. It is complete. As the ad says it's a project and the price reflects that. I wouldn't consider it a huge project but I can see where some might. It's a 1 of 8 car and priced fairly. If I don't move it soon, the driveline will be rebuilt for a b body and the car will be crushed. Lastly. The car is 47 years old and a convertible , with a big block for under 2500. Of course it needs restoration. However the level of work it may require depends on who buys it

Is it worthy of restoration? Yup, but it won't be a simple job either. It is priced fairly, and I never said it wasn't. But, it does need everything.
